!±8± Automotive Problems Solved Today

No matter what car you drive or motorcycle you ride sooner or later it will have mechanical problems, these can consist of simple indicator bulb change or something a little more serious, such as engine rebuild, but what all repairs have in common is that fact that they will be expensive to repair.

The last thing the average guy or girl needs is another bill that could spiral in to the hundreds, until recently the only possible answer for this age old riddle was to take our beloved vehicle to the mechanic and ask him or her to fix it, this is not as simple as it may seem as recent statistics show that a high percentage of auto repairs do not need repairing, this means our loyal mechanics have either been repairing faults that were never there or they may make problems so you can come back to them again, other statistics show that 80% overcharge on most jobs and attempt to confuse the average guy with tech speak.

Now you don't need to take this anymore.

It is possible with the power of the Internet to repair your vehicle, learn how to repair your most prized investment, self diagnose those problems that your having, reduce or even eradicate all together any automotive bills.

Service manuals have been available for all makes and model of car and motorcycle as far back as the first cars and bikes, but now these gems of knowledge are at our fingertips for a fraction of the cost they once were.

These manual were notorious for being very expressive and hard to come by, but no longer simply download directly, once downloaded you own the manual forever and you can simple print the page(s) you need, no more oily bulky manual, just find it - print it - trash it.

The average cost of car repair in the UK is £200 (Jan 2010) this only covers labour charge, the average cost of a downloadable manual is £4.99, the mechanic will charge this fee several times for a on going problem, there is only a one off fee when purchasing a manual.

These manuals are the same or similar to the manuals given to official dealer's workshops, they contain detailed instructions and step by step diagrams for all workshop procedures - everything from changing the plug to rebuilding the engine - as well as electrical diagrams, torque settings, fluid capacities and many other issues.

Long gone are the days of trying to understand the mechanic, paying extortionate fees for simple jobs.

Replace that automotive bill with something positive, a night at the cinema, a new TV or even a holiday.

JAGUAR - Species Spotlight

JAGUAR (Panthera Onca) The jaguar is the Americas largest feline predator. This endangered cat (estimated population= +/-10000) has one of the most powerful bites in the animal kingdom which it uses to crush the skull of its prey. The jaguar is often confused with the leopard which lives in Asia and Africa. The black jaguar is very rare. In jaguars, the melanism is dominant and in leopards the color mutation is recessive. Melanism is the occurence of an increased amount of dark pigmentation. Some feel the black coloring of jaguars and leopards seems to take place more when it helps the cat to be dark such as in dense forest and jungles. Threats to this amazing cat include habitat loss and fragmentation of its range. While international trade in jaguars and their parts is illegal, the cat is still regularly killed by humans, particularly in conflicts with ranchers in Central and South America. On February 25, 2009 a regular colored spotted Jaguar (Macho B) was caught, radio-collared and released in southwest Arizona. Sadly, on March 2, 2009, was recaptured and euthanized after he was found to be suffering from kidney failure. Macho B seemed to be the only Jag that was seen in the US in some time. Some feel that the stress from the captures and sedation caused his weak kidney to fail. It is always risky to knock out a big cat. The United States/Mexico barrier wall will reduce the viability of any population currently residing in the United States. In January 2008 United ...
